Consignor Agreement

At Legacy Fine Art Gallery, we take pride in representing talented artists and showcasing their works to a broad audience of collectors and art enthusiasts.

Terms

1. Purpose
This agreement establishes the terms under which your artwork will be exhibited and sold through Legacy Fine Art Gallery.

2. Artwork Submission
All artworks submitted for consideration must be original works created by the artist (the Consignor). Each piece should be clearly labeled with the title, medium, and retail price.

3. Commission & Payment

• The Gallery retains a commission on all sold artworks (typically between 30%–50%, depending on the agreement).

• Artists receive payment within 15 business days after the sale is finalized.

4. Duration of Display
Artworks are displayed for a standard period (e.g., 90 days) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5. Care and Responsibility
The Gallery will take reasonable care of all consigned artwork while in its possession but is not responsible for loss or damage caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.

6. Promotion and Display
Legacy Fine Art Gallery may photograph or use images of the consigned artworks for marketing, website listings, or promotional materials without additional compensation to the artist.

7. Return of Unsold Artwork
Any unsold artwork must be collected within 15 days of the end of the consignment period unless arrangements for extension are made.

8. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice.
