Ryan Hill was born in Canon City, Colorado, where his love for art and creativity began at an early age. He spent his childhood building model rockets and airplanes, carving, and painting, always inspired by the vibrant orange and blue sunsets of his home state. Throughout high school, he continued to explore art, taking classes and creating works that he still treasures today.

Like many artists, life’s responsibilities eventually took center stage, and art was temporarily set aside. However, in 2016, a series of life changes allowed Ryan to return to his passion. By 2018, he had gathered supplies and began painting in acrylics, but soon recognized a need for more structured instruction to continue growing as an artist.

A friend introduced him to Ed Salazar, who became a key mentor in Ryan’s artistic journey.
